Responsible for supervision of daily activities, flock health and performance, and assist with employee hiring, training & scheduling
Supervision & scheduling of outside crews, contractors & flock changeovers
Oversee feed mill operations including ingredient purchasing, quality control, commodity purchasing and inventory management
Coordinate feed mill and farm equipment maintenance and repairs
Implement and manage OHS, on-farm food safety, animal welfare, and organic programs and audits
Valid DL, computer proficiency, strong written and oral communication skills required. Post-secondary education, previous livestock experience and Class AZ Drivers License are all considered an asset
Salary compensation is negotiable depending on education and experience, with a farm residence included
