What you will do:
Service and make daily calls/or visits to chicken producers in order to procure live birds.
Complete sales calls to chicken producers to sell both feed and chicks.
Attend industry functions and meetings from time to time.
Participate in new projects as they pertain to procurement of live chicken, as well as the sale of feed and chicks.
Assists chicken producers/customers in dealing with production related problems.
Ongoing communication with producers to determine placement dates, shipping dates and weights of birds coming to market.
Monitor birds throughout the growing period.
Participates in morning procurement meeting either in person or via conference call.
Communicate with Field Team Manager status of accounts and the performance of producers.
Other duties as assigned (the above duties are representative but not all inclusive.)
What you will need:
Post-secondary degree/diploma.
Field experience within the agricultural industry would be an asset.
Team player.
Good interpersonal and motivational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Problem identification and solving capabilities.
Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.).
Well organized, detailed oriented, innovative, divergent thinker.
