Seeking a Master Grower, QA Specialist, Jr Growers

We are looking for a talented individual to become a key member of our ambitious team, who possesses the skills and passion to develop a fully operational indoor Health Canada licensed production facility. We look to marry quality aspects of the pharmaceutical industry with cutting-edge agricultural methodologies to produce the highest quality and yields.
The Master Grower, QA Specialist, and JR Growers will be working together in a highly secure sterile growth environment in an industrial site just outside the GTA.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute production schedule for 1 week intermittently spread continuous harvests
Track genetics of seeds or rooted cuttings
Apply tissue culture or cloning techniques for propagation
Help to manage all phases of plant growth
Select and apply appropriate plant nutrients
Troubleshoot and correct nutrient deficiencies or toxicities in plants
Monitor water quality and nutrient levels for all irrigations
Design and execute integrated pest management program
Manage condition for optimal growing
Train and schedule daily tasks for grow assistants
Coordinate harvest and post-harvest production (trimming, drying, and curing)
Perform preventive maintenance and basic repair of growing equipment
Perform regular calibration of nutrient testing instruments
Participate as needed, in meetings with Senior Management Team
Ensure cleanliness of facility at all times
Keep daily records for production accuracy
Organize R&D activities to test new equipment, varieties, and growing techniques
Comply with all Health Canada regulations, audits, and inspections of grow facility
Skill and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Masters in horticulture or plant sciences (medical cannabis specialization recommended)
Experience with operating commercial-scale indoor/greenhouse grow systems
Familiar with latest production methodologies, and industry software for production management, recording, and monitoring
Experience with harvesting/trimming, drying, curing, manicuring
Knowledge of techniques and equipment for planting, growing and harvesting medical cannabis products for consumption, including storage/handling techniques.

Ability to manage a team and work independently, with great care,
Show a high degree of flexibility and outstanding organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver's license
Must be able to meet Federal and Health Canada Security Clearance requirements and have a clear criminal record.
