The Operations Manager Assistant oversees the day-to-day operations of the broiler chicken, beef feed lot and cash crop farm, including held and flock management, feeding, and operating and maintaining farm equipment. The person in this position helps develop, manage and improve the processes for each area listed above and performs like an owner; taking initiative, making sound decisions, being accountable and responsible.

Your role on the ground:
Run a 50,000 unit certified organic chicken broiler operation from placement to shipping.
Orchestrate the processes and details that need to occur to ensure the broiler operations are effective and efficient, including flock, machines, processes and people.
Play an important role in running a 600-acre cash crop operation that is transitioning into organic.
An equipment guru who oversees, repairs, polishes and takes ownership of the equipment – from the chicken houses, crop systems to the feedlot – to ensure it’s consistently working at peak levels.
Ensure that our equipment, buildings and grounds are consistently and exceptionally clean and organized.
