Roles and Responsibilities
Serving customers and mechanical staff politely, effectively and with a smile.
Assisting customers and mechanical technicians in identifying parts.
Keeping the inventory control system up to date and accurate.
Recording parts and prices accurately on work orders.
Charging accurately for all parts delivered to customers.
Creating extra sales.
Promoting Parts Department and Service Department's merchandising programs.
Keeping the Parts Department neat, clean and safe at all times.
Setting up parts displays.
Ordering of parts in a timely fashion.
Receiving and accurately recording of parts from stock orders.
Shelving orders promptly and properly.
Keeping cash accurate and properly balanced.
Counting and accounting for daily receipts.
Returning parts promptly and within the company guidelines.
Returning credit cards to the customer promptly and accurately.
Ensuring that credits are issued to the customer promptly and accurately.
Ensuring that parts warranty claims are promptly and accurately processed.
Assisting in physical inventory.
Keeping track of lost sales.
Keeping current on product bulletins and catalogue changes.
Identifying and tagging defective parts.
Documenting discrepancies in the inventory system
Keeping current on manufacturer terms and discounts.
Salary: Based on Experience.
