To meet the needs of our clients, Stoltz Sales & Service is hiring an additional Precision Farming Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
• Pursue new ways to introduce technology to farmers
• Seek out new clients
• Build long-term relationships with clients
• Continuously expand personal knowledge on new technology, products and programs
• Evaluate client equipment needs and proactively suggest effective solutions
• Train customers and staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to precision farming systems
• Participate in trade shows, as required
• Demonstrate and present products and programs to individuals and groups
Our ideal candidate will
• Have a functional understanding how to incorporate precision technology with machine operation to ensure equipment sold is being used to its full potential
• Have a solid understanding of agriculture with a practical farming background is preferred
• Be able to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonal nature of the industry
• Be a self-starter
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Hold a valid driver's licence and a clean abstract
