Partner Ag Services provides equipment solutions, supplies and service to livestock and cash crop farmers in southern Ontario. Our team consists of more than 25 people serving a wide trade area. Our major equipment lines are BouMatic, BouMatic Robotics, Valmetal, Jamesway, Rovibec and Canarm.
In order to better serve our growing customer base, we are looking for a dedicated part person to join our talented and hard working team.
Responsibilities
Coordinate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order materials, goods and supplies
Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, transport companies and Partner AG team members
Review inventories and order as required
Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis
Answer customer calls and seek out the best solution for our customers
Track the status of any orders and keep necessaries parties informed
Deal with non supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
Keep stock room organized and tidy
Qualifications
A successful applicant will be a team player with a strong understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction
Industry experience preferred but not required, experience in the dairy sector would be a valuable asset
Exemplify superior organizational skills and the ability to work with tight deadlines
Proven track record of creating process improvement in a purchasing role
Previous experience working with a computerized inventory management system, Sage Business Vision would be preferred
Ability to bring a high level of energy to our great team, and a desire to grow and develop your skills
