Our Client is a growing agricultural equipment distributor. They are seeking a Sales Professional who will report directly to the Vice President Sales. The role is responsible for generating and closing sales opportunities with new and existing customers in a sales territory north of Guelph. The applicant will be responsible for post sales technical support, customer start-up & training on equipment sold, assist with marketing initiatives and events, stays current on new equipment or product changes, and will become a product specialist on two to three specific pieces of equipment.
The requirements for the position are:
A passion for the Agriculture industry
Strong technical aptitude must know the equipment and
be able to operate it
Strong customer service and consultative selling skills
Computer skills (Microsoft Office) Experience with a CRM tool is an asset
Alignment with the company values (Spirit to Serve, Respect, Continuous
Improvement)
Post-secondary education equivalent to a University or College Diploma in
Agriculture, Equipment, Crop Science, Engineering or related field. And /or experience with modern equipment and farming practices that would give the individual value to offer to our customers, through advanced crop planting,feeding and harvesting equipment.
