Green Tractors Inc, an expanding John Deere Dealer Group with seven Central Ontario locations, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Branch Manager for the Earlton, Ontario branch.
This is a progressive position with strong compensation and benefits, and an employee investment program.
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations in his or her Branch; which includes achieving financial, sales, and budget goals, maintaining communications with other Branch Managers in the interest of best practices and consistency within the organization, and ensuring customers and staff adhere to Company policies and procedures. A key component of this position involves selling Large Agricultural Equipment to key customers.
Responsibilities
Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolves any elevated customer issues.
Ensures that appropriate communication takes place within and across all departments at the branch location(s) which may include leading regular department management staff meetings and all employee meetings.
Communicates the dealership values, principles, vision and mission within their location.
Communicates with key management to implement best practices and consistent processes for all departments within the organization.
Supports corporate managers in implementing changes in any department within the location.
Ensures the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events.
Oversees maintenance, security and a professional appearance of the facility and property for the location.
Represents the company in the sale of Large Agricultural machinery to key customers.
Provides input to the hiring, development and coaching, evaluation, and effectiveness of the management team and other employees within their store.
Manages ongoing relationships with key John Deere personnel.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
Farm equipment sales, or farm operations experience preferred.
Ability to speak English and French would be an asset.
5+ years in a dealership management role, or equivalent.
Solid problem solving and communication skills.
