JOB SUMMARY
Install and maintain plant and facility equipment. Utilize diagrams and schematics where required. Utilizing appropriate hand, power tools and welding devices to assemble and disassemble machinery and equipment. Inspect and maintain in accordance with the Health and Safety Act. The job description is to be used as a guideline only, and may not incorporate all functions of the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Industrial Maintenance
Read diagrams and drawings to determine work procedures
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setting up and repair of machinery
Install machinery and mechanical equipment according to the layout plans using hand and power tools
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate abnormalities and malfunctions following the preventative maintenance schedule
Adjust machinery and repair or replace faulty parts through fabricating or installing new parts
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machines
Make modifications to tools and fixtures including the fabrication of new parts as required
Complete appropriate documentation according to company procedures
PLC & troubleshooting and programming skills
Assist with inventory of maintenance parts
Inspect and repair heating and cooling systems
Preventative Maintenance
Follow maintenance schedule to ensure efficiency of company’s systems Continuous Improvements
Maintain technical proficiency through participating in training and development courses as provided by the company and others
Adhere to the ethical standards of those implicit within our company
Participate with team members in continuous improvement projects and suggestions
